Moon Knight, a character popularized in the comic of the same name, has a recognizable costume for fans of the series. A few of those costumes, however, can only be accessed by entering codes into the game's cheat menu. Activision, publisher of the game, gives Marvel Comics' flagship character a chance to save Mary Jane one more time as the protagonist moves through many levels and many costumes. Also released on PC, the game provided an original storyline for the Wall Crawler with a familiar cast of characters for Spider-Man fans. 'Spider-Man: Web of Shadows' was released in 2008 on the XBox 360, Wii and Playstation 3 consoles.
